Spartanburg Regional has recently taken over the Cherokee County healthcare system and is our community healthcare provider. Their facility features a 125-bed, acute care facility that offers a wide range of services in emergencies, medical, surgical, imaging and maternity. Over the years, our hospital has expanded to accommodate our growing community, including an emergency department in 2002 and an outpatient services department in 2007. They have also added an Immediate Care facility on Floyd Baker Boulevard in 2022.

If additional healthcare is needed, Cherokee County residents have access to major healthcare centers in Charlotte, NC, just 45 minutes to the northeast and in Spartanburg just 30 minutes to the south.
